Welcome! to the home of the Kid Chimney and the Thrash Jazz Assassins, a colloidal suspension of semi-volatile musicians connected via symmetry-governed electrostatic interactions. The group formed spontaneously in the fall of 2011 following an impromptu set, where electrodelic percussionist Kid Chimney joined forces with bassist Mick Nulder and guitarist Greg of the famed A Crunchy Dinosaur collective. An energy was experienced by all those present, and it was good. The ranks were soon bolstered by vocalist/multi-instrumentalist/scholar Tit Hoosjien, and it was on that day the the world shook violently, for Kid Chimney and the Thrash Jazz Assassins was born.

While none of these albums were actually released to anyone more than ourselves (honestly), they are all true albums with a piƱata candy worth of good material.  The metaphor works due to my immense love for (and possible physical dependence on) candy.  One I get the files hosted I will provide links or streams or something.  And, as long as you ask for nothing flashy, CDs are available on request.

I Want to Believe is the product of the most recent incarnation of the A Crunchy Dinosaur Collective, Kid Chimney & the Thrash-Jazz Assassins

This branch performed its first show November 2011 at West Chester University in West Chester, PA.  The group was formed at the suggestion of Kid Chimney, an ambient electronica powerhouse after an exciting jam session with Matthew Frankl and Mick Nulder.  Billed as Kid Chimney & the Thrash-Jazz Assassins, the trio melted minds that night.  Later joined by vocalist Tit Hoosjien, the group shortened their name to The Thrash-Jazz Assassins and and set out on a small summer tour.  Finally, after the fun-filled summer and lots of parking lot deliberation, the members decided to revert to A Crunchy Dinosaur, a move which emphasizes the confusion surrounding the nature of this particular group.  The album is an excellent voyage into the odd, the confused, and the still-lukewarm melting pot of hair-brained ideas.

A CRUNCHY DINOSAUR:
THE STORZ AND BICKELL ERUPTION (2009)

The Storz and Bickell Eruption

 1  Antro (ft. Big T)
2  Shanklin' (ft. DJ Rezball on Guitar 2)
3  Sexytown
4  Who Brought the Cool Guy?
5  The Soggy Dog
6  You Gave Me Wrong Change

The Storz and Bickell Eruption, recorded 2009-2010, consists of material created by the greatest variety of artists, leading to a very interestingly unstable album.  More of a compilation of the primordial days of the collective, The Storz and Bickell Eruption captures the feel, influences, and versatility of the group as the players were just beginning to understand each others style.  Although a short album, it is an excellent, and not-too-overwhelming listen.

A CRUNCHY DINOSAUR:
     SOMETHING'S GONE WRONG (2009)

Yea...don't have a real cover here. This'll do.
Something's Gone Wrong is a side project mainly credited to Matthew Frankl, Todd Sack, and Vijay Hiraesave, with the trio swapping instruments continuously, and on some tracks backing our good friend Anthony Henderson.  Very much the product of a mind-numbingly extensive mids blunt session, the material tugs at the listeners soul, seeming to whimper "please, please I'm so tired, and I have a slight headache."

1.  Breakin
2.  In the Atmosphere
3.  Kind of Metal
4.  Magic Man in the Forest
5.  Make This Track
6.  In the Atmosphere (Bonus Track)

Come back soon for more! There's always more, and sometimes it's even good!
